Position Title: Leasing Consultant

The Leasing Consultant position is ideal for an energetic customer service professional who can create excitement for prospective residents to tour and lease our apartments. This position is also responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) affordable housing program, while assisting in the daily operation of the property.
Reporting: prepares monthly leasing analysis of competitive properties
Operations: generates and implements new marketing and outreach ideas in a competitive market; assist with the rent collection process; adheres to CRM policies and procedures, adheres to all Fair Housing laws and regulations; verifies and tests eligibility, income and asset verification of resident files for LIHTC affordable housing programs for all move-ins, interims, and annual recertifications; ensures all applicable housing program forms are properly completed, filed, and submitted to the applicable tax credit monitoring agency;
Community: Evaluates needs of prospective residents during community and apartment tours while demonstration value; must be able to consistently maintain a professional demeanor; provides quality customer service to applicants and residents; assists with the planning and organization of all resident activities; resolves resident issues/complaints
In addition to the above, you will be expected to execute all other duties as assigned from time to time to ensure adequate property management operations are maintained.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time; must be able to ascend and descend stairs; must be able to lift up to 10lbs (pounds) unassisted;
Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
