We are currently recruiting for an application developer on the Power Platform Development team. This position is an integral part of the Business Relationship Management team that focuses on business relationship, project management, and providing quality solutions to support business processes that directly impact our citizens. This position focuses on the development and customizations of new business applications using PowerApps, as well as support of existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 application solutions. This position requires experience utilizing PowerApps model-driven and canvas app platforms and Microsoft Dynamics 365 online to develop, integrate, and implement business solutions within an Agile-based environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Acquires, interprets and documents business requirements, creates specifications and uses cases to analyze, document and communicate functional requirements.
Designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains intermediate to complex solutions, both within a team and independently using Microsoft’s Power Platform.
Support the design, development and implementation of data integrations based on business requirements leveraging county or externally available data as needed
Supports and manages application software releases/patches and testing
Provide support and troubleshooting for applications
Document the application environment, help documentation, and assist with training documentation
Provide expertise and support of managing the Power Platform environment for implementation and data governance for new business applications, both for the internal development team and external business users.
Provide leadership in organizational adoption of the Power Platform.
Provide mentorship to the PowerApps development team and external business users.
Qualifications & Experience
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; three years of technical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
8+ years of Microsoft Dynamics and PowerApps development with programming languages (C#, TypeScript, etc.) and supported database connections including Azure and SQL Server experience preferred.
Strong functional knowledge of development tools for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
Experience with administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check.
Must maintain personal mobile technology as a condition of employment.
