The Company is offering a full range of engineering and testing services from pre-construction through post-construction as an immediate opening for an Environmental Project Engineer position at its location in Davie, Florida.

Absolute Civil Engineering Solutions, LLC., is looking for an experienced Environmental Project Engineer to work in our Davie (Broward County) offices located at 4121 SW 47th Avenue, Suite 1319. Davie, FL 33314. The candidate for this position must have Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related and 4 yrs. experience in the job offered or related.

The position will have the following roles and responsibilities:

This position is an integral member of the ACES Team. The position will be challenged with a wide variety of projects and support opportunities.

Specifically required is the demonstrated ability to provide environmental site assessments & remediation, compliance monitoring, waste management and various geotechnical, civil/structural engineering assignments; will support and handle projects from conceptual development, through design and implementation and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory obligations; will support and organize technical assignments (both in the field and the office) and will handle the entire or specific elements of environmental compliance and engineering projects under the following technical areas: Air Quality and Clean Air Act Compliance, Safe Drinking Water Act Compliance, Clean Water Act Compliance (both Storm Water and Wastewater), Compliance with Soil and Groundwater Cleanup Target Levels, Waste Management, Petroleum Storage Tank and Assets Compliance, Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I, II & III) and Remediation, Lead Based Paint and Asbestos, Environmental Management System and Compliance Auditing Support.

In addition, will provide support (both in the field and the office) for civil/structural, transportation and geotechnical projects; will provide site oversight and support for drilling, soil/groundwater sample collection, and other technical activities related to field efforts within project scopes.

Furthermore, will prepare Technical Reports on Environmental Projects for submission to clients and Government Regulatory Agencies; will manage field documentation and field/analytical data, generate maps, boring logs, and spreadsheets to support investigation findings; will prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports; will analyze environmental analytical data and make recommendations, and will prepare project proposals inclusive of scope of work and related costs.

Minimum experience required is at least four (4) years of relevant, progressive, post-graduated experience involving environmental management and improvement projects, safety and environmental systems, and wastewater treatment. Minimum is required an engineering intern FL license.

Must be proficient in MS Office Suite applications AutoCad and GIS. The position may require working late/long hours in the field; occasional weekend work required & exposure to hazardous materials.
