Simily is a platform for self-publishing fiction short stories. Our mission is to help writers reach readers, get feedback, and get paid. We elevate creative writing and pay authors for each view their stories receive.
Key information about the platform:
- We believe in paying writers. While our platform is in its early stages, we pay authors $0.02 for every unique story view, including views from free accounts.
- Authors retain all copyright to their work and are able to remove their work from Simily at any time.
- We do not require exclusivity. Writers are free to publish or republish their work wherever they see fit.
- We promote creative writing on Simily and we love fiction short stories and poetry

Responsibilities
Simily is a growing community with thousands of pieces of content. We're looking for a content developer to curate reading lists of the best stories on Simily.
- Browse the Simily story library and select stories for custom reading lists based on genre, mood, or thematic similarities
- Engage with our community of writers both on Simily and on social media
- Identify creative ways to share Simily stories with our community and beyond
- Support writers in reaching more readers with their stories
Qualifications
- A passion for reading and curating great stories
- Ability to spot high-quality writing
- You are a creative writer with experience self-publishing online
- You understand the writing process and the pain points of fiction writers
- Familiarity with the Simily platform is a plus but not required
- Background in fiction editing is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
