CACI is seeking a T&E Acquisition Engineer to Provide Marine Engineering/Test Engineering Support to include; (Developing Pre-Milestone I and Post Milestone I Test and Evaluation (T&E) Documentation, T&E Strategies, Schedules, Test Program Resources, Test Range Identification, and DT, OT, and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) test program funding profiles. This position is in the Washington, DC area.
More About the Role:
Support the MSC Ship Acquisition programs for T&E activities related to Construction, Post Delivery and Operational Testing activities.
Perform T&E related analyses for MSC Ship Programs.
Assist with the review of Government and contractor developed documentation, spreadsheets, reports, schedules, database produced lists, design drawings, ship specifications, and engineering change requests.
Review all products for accuracy and completeness and provide recommendations to improve the quality of those products.
Perform T&E assessments; evaluating and advising the government on Milestone documentation review issues and offer solutions.
This position will require candidate to visit and/or work aboard ships at the shipbuilder’s facility or ship’s homeport.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Technical Field is preferred.
More than 5 years of experience with the U.S. Navy or DoD Test and Evaluation Programs.
Experience with MS Office Suite.
Ability to interface with team members, technical leads and Project Managers.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with DOT&E Oversighted ACAT programs.
