We're looking for a Product Engineer to lead implementation for one of our core products. In this high-impact role, you'll work with R&D and design to build an exceptional user experience for our customers. You won't just own a small feature here - you'll lead implementation on a complete product for an obsessive customer base.
Own the implementation of the user experience and new features for our core photography products
Work closely with Design to create a beautiful and functional product
Become an expert in one or more technical AORs (plugins, third party libraries, deployment, testing, QA, etc)
This is a mid-level role for someone interested in a working with a high degree of impact and autonomy. The top "soft skills" we're looking for in this role are shipping mentality and work ethic, followed by grit and intellectual humility. As a product engineer, the core competencies of this role are good engineering sense (problem decomposition, architecture, and best practices) and good product sense (user empathy, UX, and UI).
We use QML and C++ to develop our apps. You do not need to be proficient in either to excel in this role, as long as you are willing to do what it takes to learn fast. Experience with JS frontend frameworks like React may be helpful, and experience with image/video processing is a huge plus.
