Job Summary:
Amentum is currently seeking a .NET Developer to support an IT Managed Services program for Sandia National Laboratories, Department of Energy. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems for National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS).
You will be a part of the Security Info Systems team, which manages, develops, and maintains applications primarily for the Field Intelligence Element and Safeguards and Security organizations. These 50+ applications are utilized to help facilitate and maintain the security posture for the laboratory. You will bring your knowledge in software engineering and the strength to work across the full stack of web development technologies. Effective collaboration with all levels of internal personnel, including building successful working relationships, outstanding customer service, and strong technical leadership abilities, is key to this role. This is a remote opportunity and requires travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico as needed.
As a member of the team, you will:
Analyze, design, develop, and deploy full-stack .NET web applications supporting our customers.
Support existing applications using a variety of legacy technologies (primarily .NET) and modernize these applications.
Develop technological improvements to our team’s toolchain (for example, our CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure APIs, testing framework, or our microservice deployment platform).
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and 14 years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and 18 years of experience.
Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract.
Experience as a full-stack web development.
Experience developing in .NET (C#).
Experience with relational database design and usage.
Experience agile development.
Experience with container orchestration technologies.
