The Process Engineer is responsible for preparing and overseeing the completion of technical deliverables for all project phases following established engineering principles, procedures, and criteria. This position provides process engineering expertise and ensures deliverables meet the requirements of customer documents, field philosophy, and applicable code and industry standards.
Provide input during project planning including resource allocation plans, man-hour estimates, and project completion requirements
Perform quality review of engineering calculations (i.e., heat & materials balances) and design packages reviews
Coordinates requirements of clients, staff, gives work direction and performs quality review of work performed
Must have a strong working knowledge of process engineering drawings, construction field philosophy, applicable codes and regulations.
Must be able to identify scope of work or design basis changes and initiate change management documents
Must plan, organize and lead the engineering design activities for small and multi-discipline oil and gas projects
Must ensure supplier data and drawings are in compliance with project design specifications
Must be able to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
Must be able to recommend, initiate, and coordinate interdisciplinary document review meetings
Must be able to perform computer simulations using HYSYS software.
Must be able to manage PFD and P&IDs and provide quality control on discipline modifications
Must be able to generate process equipment specifications, line lists and PSV calculations
Must be able to write standard operating procedure manuals and instruct field personnel on process specific details
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures
Support the AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or associated discipline
Minimum 5 years experience as a Process Engineer.
Professional Engineer License
Current and Valid Driver’s license
Oil and Gas experience
