The Mid-Level Modeling and Simulation Engineer provides direct support to the Lethality Business Unit, with the following skill sets
Technical background in physics or engineering
Technical proficiency in C++ or other compiled languages
Technical ability to develop models to simulate physical events
Technical ability to conduct analysis and interpret output
Technical background in kinetic energy lethality modeling, simulation, and analysis
Good problem solver, capable of generating solutions for abstract problem definitions
Desired emphasis on kinetic energy weapon lethality modeling.
5 years experience in modeling and simulation
The candidate must have analytical skills needed to solve engineering and physics problems related to kinetic energy weapons
The candidate must have experience in a compiled programming language and be able to write and verify code that simulates physical events.
The candidate must be able to analyze data, properly configure code input, and analyze trends in code output in order to test both code viability and stability.
BS (minimum) MS (desired) degree in Engineering or Physics.
A security clearance, minimum secret, is required for this position.
