Description:

Additional Job Responsibilities:
Collaborates with clients, suppliers, engineers, Operations and other staff to understand the specified material and the conveyance, transport, storage or other handling needs.
Evaluates current material handling and storage process, considering innovations in material and methods.
Recommends improvements to ensure most efficient and cost-effective handling and packaging procedures.
Drafts sketches, samples, and written analysis of proposed designs or improvements to handling system, packaging, and other related elements.
Estimates material needs, costs, and timelines for proposed projects using PFEP and other tools.
Facilitates installation, testing, and debugging phases of projects.
Coordinates work and deliveries from outside vendors.
Drafts, or assists with drafting of, relevant technical documentation, user manuals, and lists.
Oversee and manage complete packaging development process, including the creation of packaging designs, prototype development, and performance testing.
Troubleshoot new and existing packaging problems involving designs, materials and processes and provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years relevant experience. Preferred experience with Lean, PFEP, tuggers and packaging design.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management , Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related field
Master’s Degree a plus Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solve with superior analytical skills
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Experience and or knowledge of contract law
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify creative solutions in a fast paced environment
Highly proficient oral and written communication skills
High level of capability to work independent
Motivated by a startup-type business environment and flexibility to adjust accordingly
Strong understanding of legal terms/conditions, licensing models, and?Security/Confidentiality?requirements
Adept at engaging and presenting to Senior Executives and key stakeholders
Well versed in EV industry trends and developing new suppliers/engagement models that align to the business strategy
Demonstrates ability to develop and apply deep cost knowledge along with commodity specific technical knowledge
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management software
Experience managing and negotiating commercial issues with suppliers
Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints
