- Master’s degree in Materials or Metallurgical Engineering disciplines.
- 5-8 years of related experience in applied materials research, materials selection, materials coating, performance validation and service life prediction; analyses of fatigue, corrosion, oxidation, wear, or other degradation mechanisms avoidance.
- Hands on experience working effectively in a multidisciplinary team among design, manufacturing, and quality functions, in application of a standardized product development process, to achieve commercialized products.
- Working knowledge of statistical methods, Design-of-Experiments (DOE), and reliability engineering principles.
- Working knowledge of design sprints and agile development methods to accelerate discovery of opportunities and inform technology projects involving materials considerations.

Salary: $145,000.00 - $146,000.00 per year
