Hanna & Brunetti is a small civil engineering and land surveying firm serving Santa Clara, Monterey, and Santa Cruz counties. We currently have an immediate opening for Design Engineer to join our civil engineering team (in person only). Requirements for Design Engineer include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Design Engineer will actively participate in the design and technical activities required for various types of residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments and public works projects.
Tasks to be performed:
- Design and prepare engineering plans
- Prepare project technical reports and specifications
- Review project design criteria
- Gather data and design information needed for project design
- Perform design calculations
- Coordination with clients and public agencies
- Prepare project estimates
