Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC/mechanical project engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of mechanical/HVAC projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong technical background in mechanical and HVAC construction projects, both residential and commercial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide documentation control throughout the construction process, including the submittal and shop drawing process through to the closeout and warranty documentation required.
- Provide technical support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including coordination with other departments, vendors, and contractors.
- Coordinate management of project budgets, schedule updates, and resource requirements with the project team.
- Coordinate all compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies with the project team.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical project engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design, and analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong project documentation skills, including submittal and shop drawing process.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
