This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices or components within a manufacturing cell.
High school degree required; 2+ years experience (using machines/lean manufacturing).

Duties:
· Perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations in assembly/production environment
· Perform detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures
· This may include electronic assembly, mechanical assembly and packaging
· Cleans tools and equipment per documented procedures
· Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date
· Performs visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
· Clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management
· Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations
· Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes
· Participate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics that continuously seek to improve the quality of operations
· Cooperates in keeping a clean, sanitary work environment throughout the building
· Maintain a positive attitude
Skills:
· Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures in English; understand and follow verbal instructions in English (6th grade level)
· Good basic math skills (6th grade level)
· Ability to prioritize work
· Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts – good dexterity
· Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages
· Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision
