It is responsible for driving reliability performance by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques related with troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and working with equipment design team in a manufacturing environment where you will have the opportunity to share your experience working in an industrial plant applying problem solving tools.

You will
Providing technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel, leading, or participating in Root Cause Failure Analyses and monitoring KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. Collaborating with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design review, repair, and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. Providing technical support for troubleshooting of problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs, equipment condition evaluation and improvement to provide technical guidance. Ensuring a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools. Understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, such as centrifugal pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels (including heat exchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, positive displacement pumps, relief devices and compressors of various design. Helping to coordinate with maintenance, production, and storeroom personnel to establish and maintain the proper stocking levels of parts and equipment required to provide maximum equipment uptime at the lowest possible costs. Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment design and detailed understanding of maintenance and reliability activities associated with process equipment
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Your formula for success…
Engineering degree, Mechanical preferred. Experience in a Reliability/Maintenance role working with API and ASME codes as, knowledge of SAP preferred. Strong background in equipment troubleshooting, including root cause failure analysis and implementation of improvement efforts. Excellent computer skills to include CMMS software, manufacturing software, spreadsheets, and word processing software. Ability to work independently and deliver projects/tasks on time withing budget and using excellent communication and negotiation skills as interpersonal skills.
