About the Position
Geologist | South Burlington, VT or Montpelier, VT
Field data collection (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas sampling)
Observe and document drilling activities (soil borings and monitoring well installation)
Observe and document site construction activities for environmental compliance
Leveraging technology to support data management and visualization
Conduct site assessments
Assist with writing technical reports, correspondence, notes and memoranda
Skills and Attributes
Ability to work in field and office settings
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Motivated and ability to problem solve and work independently
0-3 years of engineering/environmental consulting experience, whether through coursework or professional experience
Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related field with a focus on Geology and Hydrogeology issues with internship experience preferred
OSHA 40 hr. HAZWOPER certification and annual refresher certifications required after 30 days of employment
