We are looking for an Product Development Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer who will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, and who’ll be tasked with developing manufacturing processes and tooling for the next generation of Alumacraft fishing boats. As part of your role, you’ll be working on the leading edge of manufacturing to bring new and exciting boat designs to reality in a production environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Improve and develop new methods and approaches to process applications and recommend solutions to the team.
- Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness that are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work cross-functionally between production, quality, and development to influence new Alumacraft vehicle designs and drive DFM (design for manufacturing) principles.
- Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency and safety.
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve manufacturing challenges.
- Estimate costs, production times, or staffing requirements for new designs.
- Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with 2D/3D design using AutoCAD and Creo, or equivalent.
- Must be willing to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment across multiple levels of the organization.
-Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred:
- Strong written and verbal communication and ambitious personality to make changes within the organization.
- Previous fabrication and/or assembly experience in a production environment is preferred.
