Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, organize and manage the Manufacturing Engineering activity for plant operation providing engineering direction and support to plant production and other departments. The Manufacturing Engineer activities’ major focus is directed to manufacturing systems, processes, standards, tooling and new technology, all designed to attain maximum production efficiency, at high quality standards in the most cost-effective manner.

Job Requirements:

Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas.

Implement new manufacturing processes and technology through lean and QRM strategies.

Create and maintain Job routers to ensure optimum production efficiencies.

Perform time studies to validate job performance. Adjust job routers as determined.

Recommend and Design production fixtures and tooling.

Analyze make/buy decisions utilizing data, process flow and safety of handling products.

Develop, design, and publish procedural standards, operation/work instructions, and manuals.

Develop equipment capital justifications to support existing and new processes.

Collaborate with the Current Product Engineering team with current product modifications and tooling.

Carry out responsibilities by inspecting work and assisting with addressing complaints and/or resolving issues related to Production parts.

Create and evaluate prints and drawings to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Establish welding and wiring standards.

Maintain proper documentation, including BOM optimized for production.

Contribute to team effort by actively participating in team meetings.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Manage machine programming for CNC equipment.
