Position Summary:
Assist in leading and driving the Infrastructure initiatives to increase the efficiency of our on-prem resources, datacenter, and cloud footprint and enable the strategy/goals of the firm. Accomplish these goals through the development of policies, procedures, and technology to improve the organization’s internal and external operations.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a reliable, secure, and efficient network. A successful candidate will be able to architect, deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure continuous smooth network operation in a multi-office/multi-state environment.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, and other Windows related services.
- Manage and administer M365 environment.
- Manage and administer a growing Azure environment.
- Provide Tier 3 support for Support Services, Business Applications, and Development teams.
- Responsible for the monitoring and patching of Windows servers and endpoints and other Third Party software.
- Support and manage virtual environment.
- Maintain FortiGate firewalls and remote access systems.
- Support Cisco network devices (Catalyst Switches and Meraki access points).
- Manage various vendor relationships for infrastructure support.
- Monitor and support all aspects of the infrastructure (on-prem, co-location, and cloud).
- Performs other functions as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressively responsible Network Administration/Virtualization/Cloud experience.
- 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365.
- 2+ years of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Cisco switches.
- 2+ years of experience with Fortinet FortiGate.
- 2+ years of experience with VMware (vSAN, vCenter, vSphere, NSX).
- Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL Framework or other industry frameworks is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar focus or equivalent experience required.
- Must have a high level of self-motivation coupled with a strong work ethic.
- Strong analytical abilities to solve technical problems.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the company.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
