LOCATION: This position is an onsite role, based in Twin Falls, Idaho at the Clif Bar Plant.
Mission: Provide technical leadership and support within the plant for technical plant activity (ALQs, Manufacturing Standards, CPMs improvements, Technical Training) in order to drive growth, quality, and productivity programs.
Responsibilities & Outcomes:
- Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Function as point of contact for RDQ at the assigned manufacturing plants.
- Executes/leads Low, Mid and High ALQs, providing appropriate level of technical support and troubleshooting to execute trial/CQV objectives and ensure proper documentation of each activity.
- Support R&D Quality programs in assigned facility.
- Support manufacturing technical needs.
- Support of Manufacturing Standards implementation and adherence and Spec modernization deployment.
- Support achieving CPMs > 1 and identify opportunities for non-compliant CPMs to meet the requirement.
- Leads technical training for PE.
- Provide technical guidance to Lean Six Sigma efforts in supporting all Measurement System Analysis and sharing of best practices across the network.
- Develop, coach and train plant personnel (specifically Process Engineers) to improve technical understanding within the plant.
- Work collaboratively with plant personnel and other HQ functions including RDQ to ensure that programs are aligned against key business objectives.
- Actively participate within the Supply Chain Reinvention and RDQ teams to continuously evaluate and improve support provided to both the NA R&D team and the plant.
- Develop understanding of E2E material sourcing (raw and pack) to create solution improving plants productivity, quality, and safety KPI’s.

- Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or food engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus.

Pay: $91,000.00 - $113,750.00 per year
